The public is invited to attend An Evening of Hope, to be held on October 20th at the Sophia L. and Peter M. Wege Conference Center, Diocese of Grand Rapids.

Presented by Our Hope Association, An Evening of Hope will be a truly special community event where recovery will be celebrated, and the message that there is life beyond addiction will be highlighted, providing hope to those that suffer from addiction and to the friends and families that love them.

An Evening of Hope will feature a keynote lecture delivered by Marti MacGibbon, speaker, author and comedienne who works to help bring a message of hope to those who have experienced the trauma associated with addiction, homelessness, domestic violence and human trafficking. Author of the book "Never Give in to Fear: Laughing all the way up from Rock Bottom," MacGibbon brings humor to lighten the topic. MacGibbon "carries the message" about addiction, treatment and recovery, using her own experiences to highlight the power of addiction as well as the power of recovery.
