A TRIBUTE TO MOTOWN: AN AMERICAN DREAM STORY will play from May 7 through May 29.
This new musical takes you back to the early days of what became Motown Records and reacquaints those who were youngsters or young adults in the sixties and seventies with all of the beautiful music you grew up with.

Songs like "My Guy," "Stubborn Kind of Fellow," "Shop Around," "Please Mr. Postman," and, "Money" and many, many more provide the musical score for this production. The story, however, lies in the symbolism Motown Records conveys to a people struggling to realize their full potential. It serves as a shining example of what a willing group of people can build when they decide to combine their ideas, dreams, talents and gifts to create something great.

The radio program "African American Inspiration" will feature guests in April including Mrs. Kathy Barton-Brown, Mr. Tendaji W. Ganges, Mr. Al Mackenzie, Ms. Martha Reaves, Mr. Bruce Bradley, Mrs. Stephanie Ramirez, Mr. Milton Stram, and more.

Join radio host Bettye Hendricks every Saturday at 10:00AM on WFLT 1420AM.
