Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, an intimate collection of stories covering some of life's most poignant moments and their corresponding wardrobe, will appear at Detroit's historic Gem Theatre February 8 - March 4. The evening of vignettes, which is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman as well as personal reminiscences from the Ephrons and their friends, will feature a cast of five powerful actresses. The Detroit cast includes Emmy Award-winner Loretta Swit ("M*A*S*H"), Emily Dorsch (In the Next Room), Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden), Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street) and Myra Lucretia Taylor (Nine). Tickets ($49.50) will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27 at the Gem Theatre and Fisher Theatre box offices, at all Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com and by calling (313) 963-9800 or (800) 982-2787. LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE is being presented locally by Broadway In Detroit.

In addition to its first national tour, LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE is also playing off-Broadway at New York's Westside Theatre where it has been breaking box office records since October 2009. The New York production, which was honored with a 2010 Drama Desk Award and a Broadway.com Audience Award, is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors, which has included Samantha Bee, Alexis Bledel, Kristin Chenoweth, Tyne Daly, Fran Drescher, Janeane Garofalo, Melissa Joan Hart, Carol Kane, Minka Kelly, Stacy London, Jane Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, AnnaLynne McCord, Anne Meara, Rosie O'Donnell, Rhea Perlman, Caroline Rhea, Doris Roberts, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sherri Shepherd, Brooke Shields, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Cobie Smulders, Rita Wilson and many more.

The Detroit production will include the Emmy® Award-winning Loretta Swit who became an American icon starring in television's most honored series, "M*A*S*H." She has been honored with two Emmys, a People's Choice Award, Genie Award, Silver Satellite Award, ten Emmy nominations and eight Golden Globe nominations. Her signature piece, Shirley Valentine, won her Chicago's most prestigious honor, the Sarah Siddons Award. On Broadway, she starred in Same Time, Next Year and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She has toured with Mame, Song of Singapore, 42nd Street and did The Vagina Monologues in New York, London and Chicago. She has eight feature films to her credit and 30 films for television. She is also a recognized leader in the humane environment.

Performance times for LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, appearing Feb. 8 - March 4, 2012 at the Gem Theatre, located at 333 Madison Ave, in Detroit, are:

- Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m.
- Sunday evening performances at 6:00 p.m.

Ticket prices for the Detroit engagement of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE are $49.50 for all seats and performances (includes parking in the Gem Theatre Garage and facility fees) and go on sale December 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fisher Theatre and Gem Theatre box offices and all Ticketmaster locations.
