The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled welcome Julia Lynn Marsh and her one-woman show, Please Give Me Your Money So I Can Buy a Vagina back for one performance only, Sunday, October 23 at 7:00 PM.

Through the use of stand-up comedy and improvisation, Julia Lynn Marsh shares her experiences in life, which include searching for a vagina and ultimately finding herself instead.

Chosen from thousands of entries, Julia will perform her show at the United Solo Festival in New York City in November 2016. All proceeds from The Ringwald performance will go towards expenses tied to the New York performance.

Originally performed at The Ringwald in 2013, Please Give Me Your Money So I Can Buy a Vagina went on to win Best Performance by an Actress-Original One Act or Solo Performance and the Founders Award for Excellence at the 2014 Wilde Awards.

Please Give Me Your Money So I Can Buy a Vagina is once again directed by Ringwald artistic director Joe Bailey.

Please Give Me Your Money So I Can Buy a Vagina will be performed at The Ringwald Theatre Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 at the theatre box office. The Ringwald box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased with cash or credit/debit card. The Ringwald is located at 22742 Woodward Ave, Ferndale 48220.

The Ringwald opened their doors eight years ago on May 11, 2007 with Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy. Quickly, The Ringwald became a mainstay of Detroit's theatre community. Past Productions include: Heathers: The Musical, Angels in America, Into the Woods, The Motherfucker with the Hat, August: Osage County, When the Rain Stops Falling, The Bad Seed, Making Porn, The Book of Liz, Rent, and Love! Valour! Compassion!. The Ringwald was named 2009, 2012 and 2013 Best Theatrical Troupe by Real Detroit and Best Place to See Local Theatre in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by the readers of Metro Times.
