This May, Go Comedy! will bring back its popular BITS Tournament for the seventh year and bring four original shows to Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows ($7-$18) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office. Go Comedy! brings Michigan's biggest and best improv tournament back for the 6th year Wednesday nights with BITS. The single elimination tournament joins the improv Theater's schedule Wednesday nights. Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows ($5-$18) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office. Michigan's largest improv tournament is back for a seventh year. The annual tournament brings 16 of the best improv troupes from across the Detroit region to Go Comedy! in a single elimination competition. In August the final two teams will compete for the $1,007 grand prize and a performance slot on the Go Comedy! schedule. Each week, two teams will face off on the Go Comedy! stage with just 22 minutes to impress the audience with their skills. At the end of the hour, the audience will choose by secret ballot the winning team which will continue in the tournament.

Go U! The Improv Academy's writing program presents the latest graduate's work with a fully written sketch show. Directed by Jen Hansen, The People vs. Reality is written by members of Go U! The Improv Academy's writing program.

The Fjord Twins' Greatest Glitz
You've seen them in Ahoy! and The Matt Naas Variety Show, now prepare your bodies and minds for a full hour of those Scandinavian sensations Simon and Harmony in their FIFTIETH musical revue-The Fjord Twins' Greatest Glitz. Joined by their dazzling dancers and supportive musical director, the Fjords will tell tales and shake tails until they're closer to their fans-and each other-than ever before. PLUS the Fjords are joined by a different sexy guest star every show. Come every night! You'll never see the same Glitz twice!!

The Fjord Twins' Greatest Glitz is directed by Bryan Lark and is written by and features Travis Pelto and Cara Trautman as the Fjord Twins with Lauren Bickers and Garrett Fuller.

Horseplay with Human Amusements
One of Detroit's biggest improv troupe's, Human Amusements, brings another original show to Go Comedy! Horseplay with Human Amusements will take audiences on a trip to the final days and the battle between good and evil. And there will be wigs.

Fresh Sauce
Go Comedy!'s open improv jam. Anyone with an interest in improv can play improv games with other improvisers of all experience levels.

Matt Naas Variety Show
Matt Naas hosts Go Comedy!'s variety show, The Matt Naas Variety Show featuring live music from the Variety All-Star Band, surprise guests and the best in local talent. Matt & his crew will bring a new experience to the stage each month.

Theater Show!
Becca, Miriam and Oliver are aspiring stage performers shooting for the stars with little more than a metaphorical peashooter. Theater Show is the story of hopes, dreams and the down-but-not-out-never-give up attitude found in the hearts of artists everywhere.Theater Show! is an original comedy written by Rj Cach, Alison Duffy and Jess Loria, directed by James Quesada and featuring the writers with Jennifer Bloomer, Nuverre Naami and Tom Novik.

Seven-years of original comedy
In the fall of 2008 the former Ferndale Secretary of State office was transformed into Go Comedy! Improv Theater - a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity. Today, Go Comedy! is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 50 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition.

The theater's signature show continues to be The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown which has played on Friday and Saturday nights continually for six years. Featuring members of Go Comedy! resident company, The All Star Showdown puts two teams of improvisers in an improv competition tailored to challenge their abilities, think on their feet and give audiences a roaring good time. The cast also plays for audience members who take home fabulous prizes when their team wins. It's a night of hilarious laughs and great times!
