Though there is no shortage of cold air in Des Moines this month, there is also no shortage of great theater. Read on to find out what you can't miss this month.

For the young and young at heart, the Des Moines Community Playhouse presents the musical version of Peter Pan. When Peter Pan and his fairy friend Tinker Bell take the Darling children on a flight to Neverland, they embark on an adventure they never could have imagined. With great music and the timeless tale of the boy who wouldn't grow up, Peter Pan is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. For a completely different kind of entertainment, check out Dixie's Tupperware Party. A theatrical experience unlike any other, Dixie's is a true original. Just in time for the holiday season, Irving Berlin's White Christmas makes a stop in Des Moines December 10 - 15th. Featuring the Berlin hits you know and love, along with great dance numbers, the classic holiday film truly comes to life onstage. This holiday musical is sure to become a classic in its' own right.
