LES MISERABLES

October 2-7
Based on Victor Hugo's epic novel, relentless policeman Javert pursues escaped convict Jean Valjean over decades through the tumult of revolutionary France. The acclaimed score includes 'Who Am I?', 'A Little Fall of Rain', 'One Day More', 'Bring Him Home' and 'I Dreamed a Dream'

War Horse

December 11-16
As World War I begins in England, 1914, Joey, young Albert's beloved horse, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. He's soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in No Man's Land. But Albert cannot forget Joey and, though not old enough to enlist, he embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse and bring him home.

THE BOOK OF MORMON

January 23rd, 2013 - February 3rd, 2013
THE BOOK OF MORMON tells the hilarious story of two Mormon elders sent to Uganda on their mission for the Church of Latter Day Saints. THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, “South Park.”

JEKYLL & HYDE

March 5-10, 2013
JEKYLL & HYDE is an evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Convinced the cure for his father's mental illness lies in the separation of Man's evil nature from his good, Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the savage, maniacal Edward Hyde.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

March 19-24, 2013
On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley together. The place was Sun Records’ storefront studio in Memphis. The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” who discovered them all. The four young musicians united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording that has come to be known as one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam sessions of all time.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

November 20-25, 2012
DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince trapped under an enchantress’ spell. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end transforming him into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Rock of Ages

April 26-27, 2013
It’s 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small-town girl met a big-city dreamer – and in L.A.’s most legendary rock club, they fall in love to the greatest songs of the ‘80’s. It’s Rock of Ages, a hilarious, feel-good love story told through the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more.

JERSEY BOYS

May 28-June 19th, 2013
JERSEY BOYS is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were thirty.

Tickets for any of the shows featured in the Civic Center's 2012-2013 season are available at http://www.civiccenter.org.
