Music Directed by Adam White
January 13 - February 4, 2017

Based on the iconic 1969 rock concept album, The Who's Tommy is an exhilarating story of hope, healing and the human spirit. The story of the pinball-playing, deaf, dumb and blind boy who triumphs over his adversities has inspired, amazed and puzzled audiences for more than 40 years. This five-time Tony Award-winning musical was translated to the stage by theatrical wizard, Des McAnuff, into a high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical event.

Stage Kiss*
By Sarah Ruhl
Directed by Deb Flomberg
March 24 - April 15, 2017

Art imitates Life. Life imitates Art. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. Stage Kiss captures Sarah Ruhl's singular voice. It is a charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss-or when actors share a real one.

The Rocky Horror Show
Book Music and Lyrics by Richard O'Brien
Directed by Colin Roybal
May 26 - July 1, 2017

The classic musical about the Sweet Transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania finally makes its long awaited debut at The Bug Theatre. Enjoy all your favorite songs in this 25th Anniversary Revival of Richard O'Brien's Tony Award-nominated 'The Rocky Horror Show.' Equinox has a lot of exciting tricks up its collective sleeves to bring this long-lasting favorite to vivid life. Look for the specially designated audience participation nights during this extended six-week run.

Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story*
Book, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff
Directed by Patrick Brownson
July 28 - August 19, 2017

This haunting musical offers the chilling true story of the legendary duo who committed one of the most infamous and heinous crimes of the twentieth century. Focusing on their obsessive relationship and utilizing Leopold's 1958 parole hearing as a framework, THRILL ME reveals the series of events in 1924 Chicago that led about-to-be law students Leopold and Loeb to be forever remembered as "the thrill killers." Nathan Leopold was passionate about Richard Loeb, who was passionate about crime and excitement. But soon their perfect crime unraveled due to a careless mistake. Or was it so careless?

Disaster!*
By Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick
Concept created by Seth Rudetsky and Drew Geraci
Additional Material by Drew Geraci
Directed by Deb Flomberg and Colin Roybal
November 10 - December 2, 2017

It's 1979, and New York's hottest A-listers are lining up for the opening of a floating casino and discotheque. Also attending is a faded disco star, a sexy nightclub singer with her eleven-year-old twins, a disaster expert, a feminist reporter, an older couple with a secret, a pair of young guys who are looking for ladies, an untrustworthy businessman and a nun with a gambling addiction. What begins as a night of boogie fever quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to multiple disasters, such as earthquakes, tidal waves and infernos. As the night turns into day, everyone struggles to survive and, quite possibly, repair the love that they've lost... or at least escape the killer rats.
