In this week's episode of "In Focus", host Eden Lane gets in the holiday spirit at the Arvada Center with "A Christmas Carol, The Musical." Going behind the scenes, Eden takes viewers to rehearsal to meet the creative team as well as the star of the show - Scrooge himself. She also gets a sneak peek in the wig shop to see how local technicians bring the show to life. watch!

The Arvada Center opens A Christmas Carol, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer tonight, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. This Broadway rendition of a family holiday favorite will run through December 22 in the Main Stage Theater.

A Christmas Carol, The Musical is the 1994 musical adaptation of Dickens' classic story, written by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens, featuring music by award winning composer, Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.

The cast features Richard White (Ebenezer Scrooge), Cole Burden (Bob Cratchit), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (Ghost of Christmas Future), Megan Van de Hey (Ghost of Christmas Past), Stephen Day (Ghost of Christmas Present) and Brad Nacht (Jacob Marley).

The ensemble members are Joanie Brosseau-Beyette, Stephen Cerf, Rob Costigan, Jennifer DeDominici, Ben Dicke, MAddie Franke, Kaden Hinkle, Tim Howard, Hannah Katz, Emily Luhrs, Charla Mason, David Miller, Julia Perrotta, Katie Phipps, Gregory Price, Parker Redford, Vincent Rodriguez, Mark Rubald, Robert Michael Sanders, Nate Patrick Siebert, Jacob Lewis Smith, Ron Tal, Rachel Turner, Kira Vuolo and Sharon Kay White.

In addition to director Gavin Mayer, the creative team includes David Nehls (musical director), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (choreographer), Brian Mallgrave (scenic design), Chris Campbell (costume design), Vance McKenzie (light design) and David Thomas (sound design). The Arvada Center Artistic Producer is Rod A. Lansberry.
