The Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation (NAHF) will host a dedication ceremony for the 2011/2012 People's Choice Award-winning sculpture, "Desert Mother" today, June 26 at 5:30p.m. The sculpture is located at Fox Run Open Space in Northglenn on the west side of Fox Run Parkway between 108th Drive and 109th Avenue. The public is invited to attend and light refreshments will be served.

The sculpture was part of Northglenn's Art on Parade program before it won "The Peoples Choice" award. The program features on-loan, outdoor sculpture exhibited at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park for one year. The public votes for their favorite, and NAHF works toward purchasing the piece for permanent display in the City of Northglenn.

"Desert Mother" is a 32" high bronze sculpture that depicts a mother coyote and her two pups. Artist James Paulsen is a nationally known sculptor from Minnesota. For more information about Mr. Paulsen, visit www.paulsenbronze.com
