Vintage Theatre presents

Moonlight and Magnolias

by Ron Hutchinson & Directed by Luke Terry

Vintage Theatre presents Moonlight and Magnolias July 1 through July 31 at Vintage Theatre.  In 1939 Hollywood is abuzz. Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, "Gone With The Wind." The screenplay, you see, just doesn't work. So what is an all-powerful movie mogul to do? Selznick sends a car for the famed screenwriter Ben Hecht and pulls formidable director Victor Fleming from the set of "The Wizard Of Oz". The three men labor over five days to fashion a screenplay that will become the blue print for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time. The cast includes Robert Kramer as David O. Selznick, Bob Leggett as Ben Hecht, Don DeVeux as Victor Fleming and Kelly Reeves as Ms. Poppenghul.

Moonlight and Magnolias runs July 1 through July 31 at Vintage Theatre, 2119 E. 17th Ave. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.  An Industry Night is offered on Tuesday, July 12  at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are available by calling 303-839-1361 or online at www.vintagetheatre.com.
