NOW PLAYING: The Edge Theatre Presents 'boom' thru 10/21

The Edge Theatre Company is proud to present "boom" by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb running now through October 21st. A grad student's online personal ad lures a mysterious journalism student to his subterranean research lab under the pretense of an evening of "no strings attached sex!" But when a major global catastrophic event strikes the planet, their date takes on evolutionary significance and the fate of humanity hangs in the balance! Will they survive? What about the fish in the tank? And who is that woman pulling levers and playing the timpani???

Under the direction of Scott Bellot, the cast includes Suzanna Wellens as Barbara, Samara Bridwell as Jo, and Royce Wood as Jules.

Peter Sinn Nachtrieb says, "In college I majored in both theater and biology and I think this play might be an attempt to understand the relationship between the two. For me, both fields are attempting the same thing: to try and make some sense of the world in an epic and intimate way."

The Edge Theatre presents "boom" fascinating audiences now through October 21st. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 p.m. For tickets or more information, contact The Edge Theatre by calling 303-232-0363 or online at www.theedgetheater.comThe Edge Theatre is located at 9797 W.
