The Platte Valley Players of Brighton, Colorado are presenting the wild and raucous musical revue Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits Volume 1 by Gerard Alessandrini at The Armory Performing Arts Center in Brighton, Colorado, July 15, 16, 22 and 23.

In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters. Send-ups, impressions and parodies abound in this mash-up show that starts like a freight train and never stops. See Broadway legends like Carol Channing, Mandy Patinkin, Stephen Sondheim, Barbra Streisand, Idina Menzel and Liza Minelli at their "Broadway Best."

The show includes songs and parodies from your favorite musicals, including Rent, Phantom of the Opera, Spamalot, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Wicked and, of course, Les Miserables.

Directed and choreographed by Kelly Van Oosbree with Music Direction by Eric Weinstein, the cast features Shane Delavan, Lindsey Falduto, Shahara Ray and Rob Riney.
