Arvada Center's A CHRISTMAS CAROL Opens Tonight

The Arvada Center will open A Christmas Carol, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer tonight, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. This Broadway rendition of a family holiday favorite will run through December 22 in the Main Stage Theater.

Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please note: There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. An additional performance has been added on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, December 6 after the 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, December 11 after the 1:00 p.m. show. Adult ticket prices start at $53, and children's tickets are half price. A Christmas Carol, The Musical is the 1994 musical adaptation of Dickens' classic story, written by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens, featuring music by award winning composer, Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.

The cast features Richard White (Ebenezer Scrooge), Cole Burden (Bob Cratchit), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (Ghost of Christmas Future), Megan Van de Hey (Ghost of Christmas Past), Stephen Day (Ghost of Christmas Present) and Brad Nacht (Jacob Marley).

The ensemble members are Joanie Brosseau-Beyette, Stephen Cerf, Rob Costigan, Jennifer DeDominici, Ben Dicke, MAddie Franke, Kaden Hinkle, Tim Howard, Hannah Katz, Emily Luhrs, Charla Mason, David Miller, Julia Perrotta, Katie Phipps, Gregory Price, Parker Redford, Vincent Rodriguez, Mark Rubald, Robert Michael Sanders, Nate Patrick Siebert, Jacob Lewis Smith, Ron Tal, Rachel Turner, Kira Vuolo and Sharon Kay White.

In addition to director Gavin Mayer, the creative team includes David Nehls (musical director), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (choreographer), Brian Mallgrave (scenic design), Chris Campbell (costume design), Vance McKenzie (light design) and David Thomas (sound design). The Arvada Center Artistic Producer is Rod A. Lansberry.
