Denver's Dangerous Theatre presents "An Empty Chest & Drawer Full of Fingers", written by Jonathan Vick and directed by Winnie Wenglewick, featuring Jessica Tatham, Eric Noto, Winnie Wenglewick and Eric Mindykowski. The show runs October 11 - November 16, 2013, playing Fridays at 7:30, Saturdays at 7:00 and Sundays at 1:00. Ticket Price: $10.00.

Playwright and author Jonathan Vick is a master at creating surreal characters who are believable. In these two one acts the theme is missing body parts. The fact Guy's finger has fallen off is totally inconsequential, he needs the ring that was on it. When Ashford married Lorraine he gave her his heart to love, honor and cherish. Now he wants it back to give to another woman and she can't remember where she stashed it. Both acts are fun romps that look at the complications of love and relationships.

Two one acts, one set. These two surreal, comedic scenes look at love. In "An Empty Chest" Ashford wants to leave Lorraine to run off with Bernice. He can't find where Lorraine hid his heart. She can't remember and thinks a cute thug may have stolen it. He's poisoned her tea. Time is running out. All she wants to do is read her smut novel. "A Drawer Full of Fingers" During a tryst with a prostitute Guy discovers he's lost his wedding ring. In fact his entire finger is missing. Guy discovers Faye has a collection of fingers, all with rings, in her knickers drawer. She doesn't wear knickers.
