'Enchanted April' served up for Possum Point Players' dinner theatre With winter setting in for real in Delaware, Possum Point Players serve up a touch of spring with the light-hearted "Enchanted April." The 2017 annual dinner theatre presentation, "Enchanted April" is set for Feb. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12. Nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play in 2003, playwright Matthew Barber's script takes everyone on an Italian holiday in the company of four somewhat proper British ladies who may be as subject to change as much as the weather.

Off to an Italian villa, the four ladies, all with different expectations and results in mind, are portrayed by Elizabeth Roe, E.J. Panico, Abbey Chesney and Susann Studz. Richard Huffman, Dick Pack and David Naples play a couple of husbands and a hopeful landlord. Diane Counts is in the role of a maid who is quite comfortable with herself and not at all daunted by a British invasion. Dinner, which is to be announced, promises to be as enchanting as an Italian jaunt in springtime.

Tickets for dinner and theatre are $45; show only tickets are $25. Friday and Saturday dinner is at $6:00 p.m., curtain at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday dinner is at 12:30 p.m., curtain at 2 p.m. To purchase tickets, call 302-856-4560 or go to www.possumpointplayers.org.
