The international hit show Menopause The Musical has selected Wilmington as a 'hot' national market and will play the DuPont Theatre for 2 performances only, June 8-9, 2013. It doesn't necessarily mean women in Wilmington are more prone to symptoms of "The Change." It does mean they will find joy in sharing their experiences. Tickets go on-sale February 21 and can be purchased at www.duponttheatre.com or by calling 800-338-0881 or 302-656-4401. Group discounts of 10+ are available by calling 302-594-3111. Tickets are conveniently priced at $47-$67.

Set in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance at a lingerie sale. The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they realize that menopause is no longer "The Silent Passage!" It is a stage in every woman's life that is perfectly normal.

Menopause The Musical is produced by GFOUR Productions and is the work of writer Jeanie Linders. The laughter-filled 90-minute production includes parodies from the classics of the '60s and '70s and '80s. It is estimated that nearly 11 million women have attended a performance since the 2001 opening in Orlando, Florida. Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, writer and producer Jeanie Linders created the show as a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived "The Change."

Menopause The Musical has entertained audiences across the country in more than 450 U.S. cities, nearly 300 international cities and a total of 15 countries. For more information, visit www.menopausethemusical.com.

GFOUR Productions' most recent producing success includes the critically acclaimed Broadway 50th anniversary revival of Edward Albee's WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, transferred from the world famous Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, and the smash hit revival of David Mamet's GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS starring Al Pacino, opening November 11th at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. They recently premiered MOTHERHOOD THE MUSICAL, which has entertained audiences in Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Providence, RI. They began producing in 1981 with NINE, winning the Tony Award that year for Best Musical. Among their favorite Broadway productions are MY ONE AND ONLY, ZORBA THE GREEK starring Anthony Quinn, BABY, THE RINK, GRAND HOTEL, GRIND, BIG, TRUE WEST, the original and the revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES which won them the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1983 and the Tony Award for Best Revival in 2004, CATSKILLS ON BROADWAY; I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, and their production of Dolly Parton's 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, currently on national tour and in the U.K. Their combined productions and investments have been nominated for ninety-eight Tony Awards, winning thirty-seven and ninety-nine Drama Desk Awards, winning forty-six.
