Victoria Theatre Association and the Heidelberg Distributing Company present the hilarious film, Some Like It Hot, starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, July 15-17, 2011 at the historic Victoria Theatre.

Cool off in the air-conditioned Victoria Theatre with Billy Wilder's classic film Some Like It Hot. Known as American Film Institutes' funniest film of all time and nominated for six Academy Awards®, Some Like It Hot keeps Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis on their toes. After witnessing a mob hit the duo escapes town disguised as members of a female band. Dressed in "drag", Lemmon and Curtis experience some hilarious moments as one is wooed by a persistent rich suitor and the other falls in love with a girl in the band (Monroe)-neither of whom knows the other is pretending to be a woman!

COSTUME CONTEST

Come dressed as your favorite character in the movie at the Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 showings and enter the Some Like It Hot costume contest! Winners for each night will be chosen by a panel of local celebrity judges.

Individual tickets are available day-of-show at the Victoria Theatre box office, beginning one hour prior to showtime.

Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays in the air-conditioned comfort of the Victoria Theatre. Recreating the feel of the old-time movie palaces, guests may enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby beginning one hour prior to showtime, a Mighty Wurlitzer organ concert beginning 30 minutes prior to showtime, and a classic cartoon just before the movie.
