Victoria Theatre Association continues our 2014-2015 Star Attractions with THE NEXT STEP: A CONVERSATION WITH DR. "One of the most dynamic speakers in the United States" (Emerge), Iyanla Vanzant is an American inspirational speaker, author, life coach and television personality. She can currently be seen on television as the host of "Iyanla, Fix My Life" and as a frequently featured guest teacher of Oprah's "Lifeclass" on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Coming from her real life experience with difficulty and pain, Iyanla uses humor and straight talk to communicate a compassionate message of love, forgiveness and living your best life. Thousands of followers consider her a role model and mentor and they are filling venues across the country to connect with this once public defender, summa cum laude graduate of City University of New York Law School, who is now dedicated to facilitating the growth and evolution of human consciousness. Her unique gift is her ability to simply walk right into your heart.
