WaterTower Theatre Reveals 2015 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival Lineup

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Loop Executive Producer Terry Martin today announced the line-up for the 2015 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, March 5-15, 2015 at the Addison Theatre and Conference Centre. Seven world premieres highlight this year's festival as well as the return of four "Best of Loop" artists, five new artists/companies make their Festival debut, plus several returning favorites are featured in the 14th annual Festival of dance, music, theatre and the visual arts. The Festival is made possible, in part, through the generous support of The Town of Addison and the Texas Commission on the Arts as well as media sponsors, TheaterJones.com and the Dallas Observer. The Festival is produced by Terry Martin and Kelsey Leigh Ervi.

Twenty-two artists and performing arts organizations will participate in this year's Festival: Ah, Whoopsies! (You Need Go Search), *The Alternative Comedy Theatre (The Victims Improv Comedy Hour), Audacity Theare Lab (Cyrano A-Go-Go), *Blaque Artists Collective (Blaque-to-Blaque: A Trilogy of Play Shorts), Contemporary Ballet Dallas (Bottled Poetry), Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet (Penumbra), *DGDG/the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group (NICE), Elizabeth Berkman (iMy Sweet Bat-Ceañera!), Jenn Dodd (Melanchomedy: Funny Scenes About Sad Folks), John Leos Creative (Eating Pavement), Jordan Cleaver, *Melinda Wood Allen (Not An Ingenue), Miniature Curiosa (An Excruciatingly Ordinary Toy Theater Show), Muscle Memory Dance Theatre (Including You), Patrick O'Brien (The Fever), QLive! (Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story), Rhythmic Souls (Legends Never Die: Everything Old is New Again), Rite of Passage Theatre Company (Standing 8 Count), Silver Triangle Theatre Project (Nomad Americana), *Tori Scott (I'll Regret This Tomorrow) and WaterTower Theatre (The Spark). In addition, visual artist CJ Miller's work will be exhibited in the main lobby. (*Festival Debut)

Seven world premieres will be presented at this year's Festival: You Need Go Search (Ah, Whoopsies!), iMy Sweet Bat-Ceañera! (Elizabeth Berkman), Melanchomedy: Funny Scenes About Sad Folks (Jenn Dodd), Eating Pavement (John Leos Creative), Standing 8 Count (Rite of Passage Theatre Company), Nomad Americana (Silver Triangle Theatre Project) and The Spark (WaterTower Theatre). Returning "Best of Loop" artists/companies are Audacity Theatre Lab, Jenn Dodd, Patrick O'Brien and WaterTower Theatre.

A 10?day celebration of theatre, dance, music, and art, the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival features performances by arts organizations and artists from across the nation. Performances are held at the Addison Theatre Centre, in four performance venues: the Main Stage, the Studio Theatre, the Stone Cottage and the Main Lobby.

The Out of the Loop Fringe Festival media sponsors are TheaterJones.com and Dallas Observer. The Festival is produced by WaterTower Theatre - Terry Martin (Executive Producer) and Kelsey Leigh Ervi (Co-Producer).

The Dallas Observer named the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival "Best Theatre Festival" in its annual "Best of Dallas" issue. Additionally, the 2004 Dallas-Fort Worth Theatre Critics Forum awarded the Festival a special citation for providing performance opportunities to new works and new production companies.

Single tickets to all events go on sale Feb. 24. Festival Passes, now on sale, include one admission to each Festival event and are $65. WaterTower Theatre subscribers receive $10 off each Festival pass. Individual ticket prices for each event are $10. Loop passholders may make reservations starting February 11, 2015.
