Performing Arts Fort Worth presents Tony Award-winner and Broadway legend Betty Buckley in concert, in her hometown, at 5:30 and 8pm Saturday, March 28, at Bass Performance Hall's McDavid Studio in Fort Worth. Tickets are $60.50 and are on sale NOW!

Ms. Buckley has created a special concert event with pianist Christian Jacob for North Texas audiences. Titled Betty Buckley: In My Own Backyard from Broadway to Ghostlight, the concerts will include many of Betty's favorite songs by some of Broadway's greatest composers and lyricists, including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Lowe, Andrew Lloyd Weber and Stephen Sondheim.

The show will also feature songs from Betty's new album, Ghostlight, which includes songs by contemporary singer-songwriters like Mary Chapin Carpenter and Marty Balin.

Ghostlight was recently selected by USA Today as the No. 2 pick of the Top Five Albums of 2014 by music critic Elysa Gardner. The album reunites her with longtime friend and producer T Bone Burnett. Buckley and Burnett began their musical collaboration when both were 19, living in Fort Worth.

Buckley has starred in ten Broadway shows, including 1776, Cats and Sunset Boulevard and has been called "The Voice of Broadway." She is one of most respected and legendary leading ladies of theater, television and film.

Multi-Grammy-winning producer Burnett has combined his unique artistic sensibilities into massively popular musical projects, including the soundtracks to the films O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Walk the Line and Crazy Heart, and the television series Nashville.
