Based on legends that may (or may not) be true, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street School Edition serves up tasty feast of diabolical fun. Tickets to Sondheim's thrilling musical masterpiece are on sale now. The show runs July 15 - July 18. A multi-talented cast was hand-selected by the show's directorMorgana Shaw. It includes Nicholas Rothouse as the vengeful Sweeney Todd and Riley Ann as his dazzlingly demented accomplice Mrs. Lovett.

SWEENEY TODD opened on Broadway in 1979 starring Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou and went on to win eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. Stephen Sondheim composed the razor-sharp score and his brilliant lyrics are alternately gleeful and gruesome. A thriller set in Victorian England, SWEENEY TODD tells the tale of a man just released from jail for a crime he did not commit. The Demon Barber of Fleet Street cooks up a hilariously macabre revenge scheme resulting in this crafty, comedic and captivating thriller. Songs include: Pretty Women, the haunting and melodic Not While I'm Around as well as the deliciously funny A Little Priest.

Morgana Shaw (Director) Morgana recently completed filming a starring role in the psycho-thriller feature film "Seconds Apart" with Orlando Jones due out in theaters in the fall of 2010. Other upcoming feature films include "I Love You Phillip Morris" with Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor (July 2010); "Skateland" with Ashley Green (Twilight); and Indie film festival award winners "Carried Away" and "Breaking the Press".

One of Morgana's most critically acclaimed television roles was a supporting role in CBS' made-for-TV movie (now showing on Lifetime) A PROMISE TO CAROLYN, for which she was recognized in Variety magazine as giving a "chilling" performance. Other film and TV credits include guest starring and supporting roles in "Mad Money" as "Molly Johnson" with Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes; "Missionary Man" as "Tiger" with Dolph Lundgren; -Fox series Prison Break (Episode - "Wash"); Lifetime Movie Network Web series - Inspector Mom; Jericho; American Outlaws; Home Fries; Walker Texas Ranger and Secondhand Lions with Robert Duvall, Michael Caine and Haley Joel Osment.

Ms. Shaw was last seen on stage at The Bath House as Ziller Sparkfield in the World Premiere of "Well Traveled but Not Well Known" (One Thirty Productions). Other favorite stage roles include Jadis, The White Witch in "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" at The Dallas Children's Theatre; Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD (GCT). Ms. Shaw returned from The 2008 Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC with standing ovations and rave reviews for her Award-Winning portrayal of the legendary "Bette Davis" in the Broadway-Bound one-woman hit production of "ALL ABOUT BETTE; AN EVENING WITH Bette Davis" by Camilla Carr. A "bring-back" role which earned Ms Shaw a Best Actress of the Year Award at Theatre Three in Dallas, Texas. Other award-winning theatre roles include Gladys -PAJAMA GAME (Lyric Stage); Abbie -DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS (WaterTower Theatre); and Louise -GYPSY (Lyric Stage); Also an accomplished choreographer, nominated three times for Outstanding Choreography by The Dallas Theatre League and taking home THE COLUMN AWARD for Outstanding Choreography for CATS (GCT), as well as The Chita Rivera Dance Award for her portrayal of Gladys in PAJAMA GAME.

Her directing credits include The Mousetrap, Cinderella, Bridge to Terabithia; Jungle Book; The Sleeping Beauty; Picnic; Charlotte's Web; The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe; The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Nutcracker, and The Nursery Rhyme Review.

Lynn Ambrose (Music Director) has been casting commercials and films in Dallas since 1990. Before that, she was a casting director and a talent agent in New York. Recent film projects include "Karma Police", "Heart Land", commercials for the Big 12 Conference, and Cici's Pizza amongst others. She has been music directing for Imagination Players for the past six years.

Ryan Matthieu Smith (Costumer) From backstage at Los Angeles' Fashion Week at the Smashbox Studios to the back lots of movie sets in Hollywood and dressing rooms in Broadway theaters in New York City and Chicago; Ryan has been Rockin' the entertainment world for ten years. His make-up artistry and styling has graced the pages of Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Interview Magazines. He has a long list of celebrity clientele including Rihanna, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Jane Lynch, and Jennifer Coolidge. Ryan has worked with many talented and award winning directors and photographers and is mostly thrilled to be working with Morgana Shaw and the Imagination Players. His main philosophy in design in having fun and he hopes to have fun with you!!
