KD College will host Tom Logan's "Business of Show Business" seminar, March 8-10, 2013.

What's the best color to wear to an audition? Is it better to stand on the right or left during a two-person audition? What time of day is best to audition? Is slating all that important? Logan's 35 years of experience and research will help you answer those questions and more.

Friday - March 8
"Business of Show Business" Lecture
(7-9pm)
Tom will lecture on his 35 years experience in the indsutry. What directors are looking for, what works, what doesn't. Why you are or aren't getting the job.

Saturday - March 9
Commercial Workshop
(10am-5pm)
This hands-on seminar with Tom will cover the art of commercial auditions: slating , one-person, two-person, what to wear, what side to stand on...and then what to do once you actually book the job!

Sunday - March 10
Television - Film Workshop
(10am-5pm)
What's the difference between film and television? You will learn the subtle differences of working the camera for feature films and television while learning the a new language used by the industry.

Author of "How to Act & Eat at the Same Time" and "Acting in the Million Dollar Minute" and their sequels, Tom Logan is currently in pre-production for the feature film, "Petticoat Junction", (based on the classic TV series), which he is writing, directing, and producing. In addition, Tom is presently directing episodes of a TV series entitled, "Horse Play." Tom has directed over 300 national and international TV commercials.

Before becoming a screen director he had a recurring role on the #1-rated daytime soap, "General Hospital" on and off for 12 years playing "Gary", "Days of Our Lives", as well as principal roles on other soaps including the "Young and the Restless" and "Capitol."

He headed the TV/Film & Commercial acting departments in Los Angeles at two of the most prestigious acting schools worldwide - The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (1981-89) and the American Film Institute (1980-89)
