Casa Mañana Theatre continues their 2015-2016 Season with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF September 26-October 4. Tickets are on sale now.

Rich in historical and ethnic detail, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness. Set in the village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF features a cast of Broadway stars, including Bruce Winant as "Tevye," Mary Gutzi as "Golde," Mary Stout as "Yente," as well as local audience favorites including David Coffee as "Rabbi," Greg Dulcie as "Lazar Wolf" and Bob Reed as "Mordcha." Other cast members include: Matt Beutner, Chance Blakeley, Jeremy Coca, Devan DeLugo, Jeremy Dumont, Craig Glen Foster, Clinton Greenspan, Preston Isham, Sophia Kaiafas, Caroline Kellam, Shayne Kennon, Mary McElree, Michael Scott McNay, Ryan Page, Sarah Powell, Noah Putterman, Neil Rogers, Jeni Roller, Sarah Stevens, Mikey Sylvester, Jenny Tucker, Dennis Wees, Laura Wetsel and Samantha Whitbeck.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed and choreographed by Tee Scatuorchio. Mr. Scatuorchio worked on Broadway with Arthur Laurents on the revival of Gypsy starring Tyne Daly and Nick & Nora starring Barry Bostwick and Joanna Gleason. At Off Broadway's acclaimed Circle Rep, Mr. Scatuorchio collaborated with Craig Lucus to direct and choreograph the Revival of Three Postcards, as well as directed The Rose Quartet and Curtain At Eight. While running Tee and Jam, Inc, Mr. Scatuorchio continued to direct and choreograph over 17 full scale musicals at North Carolina Theatre, including The Secret Garden, King and I, South Pacific, Oklahoma, Seven Brides, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Funny Girl, La Cage Aux Folles and Steel Pier, which also went on tour. His training began at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre and he is a graduate of The University of San Francisco and the famed Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City.
