Casa Manana presents a staged reading of the side-splitting new comedy Two on the Aisle, 3 in a Van by Mary Lynn Dobson at Casa Mañana Theatre tonight, October 18. Admittance is free with RSVP.

Set just outside the stage door of The Neighborhood Action Summerfun Repertory Theatre this two act play will give you an amusing, energetic jolt as the quirky cast and crew hustle through a summer stock season that includes Hello, Dolly, The Sound of Music, Medea, Oklahoma!, The Glass Menagerie, and West Side Story.

Winner of Outstanding Ensemble Cast, 2009 FringeNYC Festival and Outstanding New Play, Talkin’ Broadway 2009 Summer Theatre Festival Citations.

cast members include noted area actors Debbie Brown, Christopher J Deaton, Jeremy Dumont, Lisa Fairchild, Ellie Hertel, Maurice Johnson, Van Quattro, Bob Reed, Cara Serber and Joe Sturgeon.

Casa Mañana’s stage reading of Two on the Aisle, 3 in a Van is directed by the author Mary Lynn Dobson. Dobson has worked as a director, actor and playwright. Her newest comedy, Skin Deep, was a winner in the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival. Her family comedy, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood has had productions mounted all throughout the US, the UK, Canada, Mexica, Australia and Austria, making her one of Dramatic Publishing’s most produced playwrights.

Casa Mañana’s stage reading of Two on the Aisle, 3 in a Van is presented for a limited engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth. The stage reading will be Thursday, October 18 at 7:30 pm. This show is suitable for most audiences, parental discretion is advised.
