Second Thought Theatre today announced complete details for its 2015 season under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alex Organ. Organ's first season in this new role includes adults behaving badly in the workplace, an ex-pat couple living the dream in Paris and a fresh take on one of the Bard's most profound tragedies. Membership and ticket information for STT's 2015 season is available online at 2TT.co.

"I've long admired the work on Second Thought Theatre's stage and I have greatly enjoyed my previous work with the company," said Organ. "Moving into the role means upholding the standards of excellence and creativity set in place by those who led the company before me. I am excited to join this group of theater artists to tackle difficult topics, new plays and subject matter that poses questions to our audience that they're rarely, if ever, asked. Our 2015 season definitely points us in that direction."

The 2015 season begins with Mike Bartlett's Bull, a companion piece of sorts to his earlier play Cock. Audiences will remember c*ckas the hit opener of STT's 2014 season. While c*cktackled the intricacies of a man trapped two loves - a man and a woman - Bull is a darkly comic look at office politics and bullies who run the show. Kitchen Dog Theater Associate Artist and Dallas Theater Center Brierley Resident Acting Company member Christie Vela makes her STT debut as director of this disquieting view of competition in the workplace. Bull is also part of the Elevator Project, exciting new arts collaboration in the black box spaces on the 6th and 9th floors of the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

Following Bull is Belleville, featuring STT Associate Artist Dew Wall. Amy Herzog's dynamic new play follows happy ex-pat couple, Zack and Abby, as they navigate the waters of being newly married in the hip Belleville neighborhood of Paris. Lee Trull returns to STT to direct this heartbreaking examination of the breakdown of trust in a marriage and the danger of secrets.

Closing the season is a brand new production of Shakespeare's Othello, directed by DTC Associate Artistic Director Joel Ferrell. Organ, who has directed last season's Cock, will play the villainous Iago, returning to the STT stage for the first time since the critically acclaimed Red Light Winter. Making his STT debut is DTC Brierley Resident Acting Company member Daniel Duque-Estrada as Othello.

"Second Thought Theater strives to produce new work for a modern audience and older works in an innovative way with the ultimate goal of encouraging audiences to ask questions - and seek answers - long after they leave one of our performances," said Organ. "Working in a new space as part of the Elevator Project, addressing the challenges of a marital relationship and producing a classic play in a new and distinctive way means a very exciting 2015 season at Second Thought Theatre."

Second Thought Theatre's 2015 season will be presented as follows: Bull (Feb. 26 - March 14); Belleville (May 20 - June 13); and Othello (July 15 - Aug. 8). Bull will be performed at the Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora Street, in the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Belleville and Othello will be performed at Bryant Hall next door to the Kalita Humphreys Theater, 3636 Turtle Creek Blvd.
