Segerstrom Center audiences attending the musical Chicago are in for some extra fun with special pre- show entertainment offered one hour prior to show time for each performance.

Live music performed by The Side Street Strutters Jazz Band will greet guests as they step into "The Onyx Club" (located at the Fire Bird Cafe of Segerstrom Hall), a jazz club right out of 1920s Chicago. Patina Restaurant Group will have themed menu items available for purchase.

There will be a Stage & Screen display to explore, focusing on the musical's origin and award-winning history. In addition, there will be a Celebrity Cell Block Tango highlighting previous stars from Chicago as well as Behind-the-Scenes video about the show.

With its legendary book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording. Chicago has everything that makes Broadway great: a universal tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz; one show-stopping song after another; and the most astonishing dancing ever seen.
