Mysterium Theater will present DAMN YANKEES, July 11 - August 11, 2013. Damn Yankees is a musical comedy with a book by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop and music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. Mysterium presents Damn Yankees in Rep with a world premiere Lincoln-the Melodrama.

Creative team: Producer: Marla Ladd; Director: Steve Biggs; Musical Director: H Hanson; Choreographer: Sonya Randall; and Music Arranger: Brian Sherick.

Cast: Jennifer Ann Marks- Lola; Sherry Domerego-Meg; James Gittelson- old Joe; Cody Valentine-Joe; Glenn Freeze- Applegate. Featuring: Glenda Wright, Scott Felver, Alice Villa, Andrew Soto, Thomas Baiz, Gary DeVault, Julian Ronquillo, Scott Rubenstein and Rosalva Reza.

The story of Damn Yankees is a modern re-telling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington DC, during a time when the New York Yankees dominated Major League Baseball. The musical is based on Wallop's novel The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant. Damn Yankees ran for 1,019 performances in its original 1955 Broadway production.
