La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts continues this season's Programs for Young Audiences series with American Family Theater's original telling of the musical favorite, The Wizard of Oz. This fun-filled musical is recommended for audiences ages 4 and up. Performances are Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Follow the yellow brick road with Dorothy and her friends in the favorite musical journey of all time. American Family Theater presents The Wizard of Oz live on stage in a sparkling production that bursts with energy, unforgettable songs and special effects; entertaining audiences of all ages.

The Wizard of Oz is directed by David Leidholdt and stars Chelsea Stotter, Shannon Agnew, Stephen Szymanski, Chris Shore, Philip Bolton, and Grace Allen.

La Mirada Theatre's Programs for Young Audiences is designed to give children exposure to a diverse mix of national and international touring stage acts while enriching their lives.

All seats are $8 for children and $12 for adults. Special pricing for Jim Henson's Sid the Science Kid: Live is $13.50 for children and $20 for adults.
