It will be a "Full House" at the Goodwill of Orange County Gala this year. The nonprofit announced today that John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, perhaps better known as Uncle Jesse, Danny Tanner and Joey, will host this year's fundraising event on Saturday, November 5 at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.

The "Full House" and "Fuller House" cast members will come together to emcee the evening program in support of Goodwill's mission to help people with barriers find employment and secure purpose-filling jobs. Stamos, currently starring on Fox's hit comedy series "Scream Queens," will take the stage with Grammy-nominated Saget and Coulier and highlight Goodwill's life-changing programs and services, lead the crowd in a live auction and more, all with their signature comedic chemistry.

"I am thrilled to again join Goodwill of Orange County for their annual Gala fundraising event, and even more excited to have Bob and Dave with me this year" said Stamos. "Many people don't know that Goodwill goes much further than its stores. They also operate a number of programs and services that change lives through the power of work -- I'm proud to be a part of that mission."

Stamos, Saget and Coulier will join the all-star lineup of musical entertainment performing that evening, including Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Skip Martin of Kool & The Gang, former Journey lead singer Steve Augeri, Tony Orlando, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night and John Cafferty of The Beaver Brown Band.

The gala will benefit three key Goodwill programs, Goodwill's Tierney Center for Veteran Services, a global approach to serving veterans and their families that connects them with resources and services to meet their unique needs, including housing, education, job placement, wellness and more; Goodwill's Rogers A. Severson Fitness & Technology Center, Orange County's sole fully accessible fitness center designed specifically for people living with physical disabilities or chronic illness; and Goodwill's Assistive Technology Exchange Center (ATEC), a program that helps children and adults living with disabilities reach maximum potential via specialized services and equipment.

"We are so excited to have these three icons hosting our annual gala and amplifying the awareness of Goodwill's life-changing programs and services," said Frank Talarico, Jr., President and CEO, Goodwill of Orange County.

Goodwill's first two galas raised more than $850,000 to further Goodwill's mission to serve people facing barriers, including individuals with disabilities and veterans. These funds helped the organization increase its total number of individuals served last year in Orange County to nearly 20,000.

Both the 2014 and 2015 galas sold out quickly and this year's co-chairs, Alaina Stamos-Talarico, Dr. Jacqueline Dupont and Anthea Chade, expect the 2016 event to be no exception. Individual tickets start at $550.

Since 1924, Goodwill of Orange County has been in the business of helping people who are facing barriers find and keep meaningful employment. Founded on the belief that every person should have the opportunity to achieve the independence that work provides, Goodwill is most recognized for being the conduit where donated goods are sold in America's favorite thrift stores to generate the revenue that provides the services to those who face employment challenges. Celebrating its 90th year in 2014, Goodwill of Orange County has supported hundreds of thousands of Orange County residents since its inception by creating and providing quality training and employment services to empower its program participants to be productive and independent. The nonprofit organization has dozens of programs that support this effort, including the GoodWill Rogers A. Severson Fitness & Technology Center, Orange County's only facility specially designed for people suffering from chronic illnesses and physical disabilities; its global approach to serving veterans and their families, Goodwill of Orange County Tierney Center for Veteran Services, which helps former service members and their families find resources and services to meet and serve their unique needs, including housing, job placement, education, and wellness; and its Assistive Technology Exchange Center (ATEC), which provides access to more than 1,000 state-of-the-art technology devices for children and adults with disabilities. These are just a few of Goodwill of Orange County's innovative programs that have served those facing barriers in Orange County for the past nine decades. In 2012, Goodwill was named one of Orange County's Most Trusted Brands. To learn more about Goodwill of Orange County, visit ocgoodwill.org.
