A Star-Studded Homecoming! Suzanne Somers DIRECT FROM LAS VEGAS Lights Up The McCallum Stage

The McCallum Theatre presents Suzanne Somers on Saturday, March 11, at 8:00pm.

Suzanne has played Las Vegas for 36 years and recently completed a two month residency at the Westgate Resort & Spa, formerly the Las Vegas Hilton, where she spent three years in the 80s. People who have never seen her on stage in Las Vegas have no idea that she sings, she dances and she's really funny. But, all you really have to know is that she was chosen to be "Las Vegas Female Entertainer of the Year," which means that every member of the audience comes away from Suzanne's show with a big smile on their faces.

In a career spanning more than three decades, Suzanne has achieved extraordinary success as an actress, singer, comedienne, author and lecturer.

Her break came as the mysterious blonde driving the white Thunderbird in the 1973 film American Graffiti, soon followed by her portrayal of the lovable Chrissy Snow on "Three's Company" which propelled her to nationwide fame. Suzanne also played the title role in the series "She's the Sheriff" and starred with Patrick Duffy in "Step By Step" which ran for seven seasons. She hosted her own daytime talk show, "The Suzanne Somers Show," and from 1998-2000, was the weekly co-host of "Candid Camera." She hit the dance floor as a celebrity dancer on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2015.

Her television work was recognized with an Emmy nomination as Outstanding Host for "The Suzanne Show," her weekly one-hour health specials on Lifetime. She received two People's Choice Awards for Favorite Comedy Actress in A New Television Series in both 1978 and 1992.

Suzanne has toured extensively with her nightclub acts and lecture series for the past 35 years. She performed for Prince Rainier in Monte Carlo and the Kennedy Center and most countries in between. A sought-after speaker on new ways to age, Suzanne has spoken to audiences of up to 50,000 people. In 2010, Suzanne brought one of her most popular talks on aging and wellness to a national cinema audience with the "Suzanne Somers Breakthrough Tour."

Her one-woman, musical autobiography, The Blonde in the Thunderbird, debuted on Broadway in a limited engagement in 2005. She received rave reviews for her bawdy, fun, romantic Las Vegas show "Suzanne" and was named Las Vegas Female Entertainer of the Year.

Suzanne's telefilm work includes the lead in the USA Network movie No Laughing Matter, playing an alcoholic, single mother. She starred in Devil's Food (1996), a Lifetime made-for-television movie, and produced and starred in Seduced by Evil (1994) for the USA Network, and Keeping Secrets, an adaptation of her autobiography for ABC. Her television and feature film credits also include Happily Ever After; Nothing Personal; Sky Heist; Yesterday's Hero; Serial Mom; Hearts of Stone; The Darklings; and Say It Isn't So.

Suzanne has authored 25 books, including 14 New York Times bestsellers, five of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers. In 1988, Suzanne published Keeping Secrets, her bestselling autobiography, which chronicled her childhood as the daughter of an abusive alcoholic and the effect that had on her life. In 1998, she wrote After the Fall which revisited her years before and after "Three's Company," and explored the pain and triumph of blending families.

Focusing on women's issues, Suzanne had best sellers with The Sexy Years (2004); Ageless (2006); Sexy Forever (2010); and I'm Too Young for This (2013). Many of Suzanne's best-selling books focus on health and wellness, including, Eat Great, Lose Weight (1997); Get Skinny on Fabulous Food (1999); Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness (2008); and Bombshell: Explosive Medical Secrets That Will Redefine Aging (2012). Her latest book is Tox-Sick: From Toxic to Not Sick.

She introduced her Somersize products on Home Shopping Network in 1992, quickly becoming one of HSN's biggest success stories. After 17 record-breaking years at HSN, Suzanne moved to ShopNBC. Recognizing her success and noting her as a pioneer in the electronic retailing industry, the Electronic Retailing Association presented Suzanne with its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.

She was the first recipient of the R. Brinkley Smithers Award to honor a chief architect in the field of alcoholism research, and she received the Humanitarian Award from the National Council on Alcoholism. She served as National Chairperson of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics twice and was the first layperson named to the American Psychiatric Foundation's board of directors. She also served on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Advisory Council to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. She received the Distinguished Achievement in Public Service Award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Suzanne was awarded the first Rick Weiss Humanitarian Award for her fundraising efforts for AIDS-related projects and was named the 1993 Mother of the Year by the National Mother's Day Committee in New York. Her other honors include a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and, in 1999, she was the Hall of Fame Inductee of Books for a Better Life.
