PANIC is the behind-the-scenes story of the most famous radio broadcast in history: The 1938 Halloween night rendition of HG Wells' The War of the Worlds. On that fateful night, America was treated to an adaptation by Orson Welles and his critically acclaimed, but ratings challenged, Mercury Theatre weekly CBS radio program. The country would never be the same! And neither would Orson Welles.
