Long Wharf Theatre has announced its 2024/2025 season, with the theme Building Our Future Together. The developmental play reading of Sarah Ghonaim’s GENIES IN A BOTTLE will be held at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford, CT on April 26th & 27th at 8pm, and April 28th at 7pm. Individual tickets are $10, general admission. Underwriter tickets are $50 ($40 is considered a tax-deductible donation in support of this work). 

TONI STONE by Lydia R. Diamond will run at Playhouse on Park from May 29 to June 16, 2024.

New Paradigm Theatre has chosen three community nonprofits that echoes the themes in their upcoming live theatre production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

 On April 22, three high school students will experience the joy of live theatre in a whole new way – as playwrights. Dylan Alter (of Ossining, NY), Myli Bruno (of Mamaroneck, NY), and Ben Souza (of Shelton, CT) were named winners of The Palace Theatre’s 2024Ernie DiMattia Emerging Young Artist Awards for their writing of an original one-act play. 

Westport Country Playhouse will present “All Things Equal: The Life and Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg,” a one-woman play written by Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes and directed by Laley Lippard, for three performances, Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m.
