Torrington Symphony Orchestra Performs Holiday Concert with The Connecticut Yankee Chorale Tonight

The Torrington Symphony Orchestra will present "A Holiday Concert," with The Connecticut Yankee Chorale in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre tonight, December 5 at 8:00 pm.

The concert will be under the direction of conductor Maurice Steinberg and feature holiday favorites such as the Hallelujah Chorus, Winter Wonderland, Sleigh Ride, March of the Toys and many more!

The Torrington Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1961 and has been an active part of the musical community ever since. The 45-plus Torrington Symphony amateur and professional musicians are drawn from 25 Connecticut towns, New York and Massachusetts.

The Connecticut Yankee Chorale is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 to bring vocal music to the region and give an opportunity for area vocalists to be heard. The Chorale is 35 members of both trained and non-trained vocalists from Northwest Connecticut and beyond.

General admission tickets are $22. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Warner Box Office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.
