Reserve Your Seats Now for An Evening of Jazz on Feb. 13th
Jazz greats Bucky Pizzarelli, Jerry Bruno and Ridgefield's own John Cutrone debut new album.

Legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, drummer John Cutrone and bassist Jerry Bruno will honor their great friend, and fellow band-mate, Carmen Leggio who passed away just four days after the group finished recording their newest CD fourxfour.

This 8:00 pm concert will be followed by a reception and a Q and A with these celebrated jazz musicians.

Norwalk native and Ridgefield resident John Cutrone is well known to residents of Fairfield County where he has been teaching drums and performing for many years. Fourxfour and other CDs by these jazz legends will be available for purchase at The Wilton Playshop.

Wilton Pizza and Jazzeria will offer 15% off to those dining in their restaurant, during the week after the show, if they provide their concert ticket.

Tickets are $35. For tickets contact The Wilton Playshop at 203-762-7629 or www.wiltonplayshop.org.

AUDITIONS NOTICE:
for John Patrick Shanley's The
Italian-American Reconciliation: A Folktale

The Wilton Playshop will hold auditions for John Patrick Shanley's comedy, The Italian-American Reconciliation: A Folktale, directed by Jeanine Defalco tonight, Monday, February 8th and tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Performances of the production will run the weekends of April 30 - May 8th

A lighthearted comic exploration of male/female relationships, and the sometimes unsettling (and very funny) complications that can ensue. Huey Maximilian Bonfigliano although divorced from his shrewish first wife, Janice, feels he cannot regain his "manhood" until he woos and wins her one more time - if only to put his broken marriage behind him once and for all. In a moonlit balcony scene (hilariously reminiscent of Cyrano de Bergerac) Janice capitulates. We learn that her earlier abuse of Huey was intended to make him "act like a man" which, at last, he does. He, and the audience, become aware that, in the final essence, "the greatest-and only-success is to be able to love" - a truth which emerges delightfully from the heartwarming, wonderfully antic and always imaginatively-conceived play.

The cast includes:
Huey: Male, 30's-40's, an Italian-American from the Bronx. He suffers.
Aldo: Male, 30's-40's, an Italian-American from the Bronx. He suffers because his friend suffers. And generally Aldo suffers anyway.
Teresa: Female, 20's - 30's, an American from the Bronx. A good girl, a good catch, but totally under appreciated. Janice: Female, 30's-40's, an Italian-American from the Bronx. Nobody suffers like Janice. And she's really ticked off about it.
Aunt May: Female, 40's -60's an Italian-American from the Bronx. She knows everything, but no one will listen. So she suffers too.
