As the final show of its Spring Puppet Performance Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will present Help Save the Monkey! by Liz Hara and Marta Mozelle MacRostie on Saturday, April 9, 2016. There will be two showings, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., in the Ballard Institute Theater located at 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center.

Incoming from outer space! Eighty-year-old Lillian's pet monkey is back from space and trying to land on Earth. Follow Lillian and her friend eight-year-old Howard as this resilient duo rushes to help their monkey friend back to safety, facing many setbacks, anxieties and lasers on their epic adventure. New York City-based puppeteers Liz Hara and Marta Mozelle MacRostie (a UConn Alumna) use table-top puppetry to illuminate the power of determination and hard work. With a focus on resilience and silly mustaches, this show is bound to please all ages!
