MAIN STAGE SEASON:

The Secret Garden Book & Lyrics by Marsha Norman Music by Lucy Simon

July 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 and August 1, 2 & 3, 2013

Based on the well known and loved children's book by Frances Hodgson, this hit Broadway musical tells the story of Mary Lennox, a spoiled orphan girl who is sent to live with her uncle on the Yorkshire moors and discovers locked away secrets of a family in mourning. Her own personality blossoms as she and a young gardener bring new life to a neglected secret garden, as well as to her sickly cousin Colin and uncle. It's a miraculous and magical masterpiece!

Second Samuel By Pamela Parker

September 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 & 29, 2013

This heartwarming comedy set in the Deep South is about family, community, diversity and strength with a unique blend of Southern charm and humor. The play's title, Second Samuel, comes from the name of the rebuilt town of Samuel, Georgia (the first one burned to the ground during the Civil War). It's the summer of 1949 and the inhabitants of this southern town are preparing for the funeral of one of their most beloved citizens. But their serenity is suddenly shattered when dark secrets are revealed and the folks of Second Samuel are in for a summer they will never forget!

Blood Brothers By Willy Russell

November 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 & 16, 2013

One of the greatest and longest running British musicals, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers has a brilliant score that provides the backdrop for this story of fraternal twins who are separated at birth. One brother is raised in a family of great privilege and one brother is raised in poverty. Even with their differentsocioeconomic backgrounds, the two boys end up becoming best friends and "blood brothers" until a misunderstanding leads to a tragic ending. Funny yet deeply moving, and by the end; not a dry eye in the house.

The Love List By Norm Foster

February 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15 & 16, 2014

In this side-splitting and thought-provoking comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman - the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this alleged "Ideal Woman" actually arrives on the scene the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. Be careful what you wish for - especially in choosing a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in this sparkling new comic hit.

The Foreigner By Larry Shue

April 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 & 13, 2014

"Froggy" LeSeuer, a British demolition expert visits a fishing lodge in rural Georgia. This time "Froggy" has brought along a friend, a pathologically shy young man named Charlie who is overcome with fear at the thought of making conversation with strangers. So "Froggy," tells everyone that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English. When he's alone, Charlie overhears more than he should due to the thought that Charlie doesn't understand a word being said. This assumption fuels the nonstop hilarity of the play and sets up the wildly funny climax in which things go uproariously awry.

Emma Adapted by Michael Bloom

May 30, 31 and June 1, 5, 6, 7 & 8, 2014

This wonderful stage version of Jane Austen's "Emma" is the story of Emma Woodhouse, who is handsome, clever, and rich. Emma, however, is also rather spoiled, headstrong, and self-satisfied; she greatly overestimates her own matchmaking abilities; she is blind to the dangers of meddling in other people's lives, and her imagination and perceptions often lead her astray. Watch out Masterpiece Theatre...here comes WTG's Emma!.

SPECIAL STAGE EVENTS:

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever By Barbara Robinson

December 12, 13, 14 & 15, 2013

The Herdmans are the worst kids in the whole history of the world; they lie, steal and cheat. Now they have bullied their way into the church's annual Christmas pageant! Slated to be the "worst pageant ever", the whole town has gathered in anticipation, waiting to see the Herdmans ruin Christmas. Will the pageant be a disaster as everyone is expecting, or will the spirit of the season change the hearts and minds of the Herdman family?

God of Carnage (pending royalty approval) By Yasmina Reza & Christopher Hampton

March 6, 7, 8 & 9, 2014

Following a playground fight between two boys, their parents meet to discuss the incident. But a rational discussion among adults quickly devolves into a childish evening of name-calling, tears and tantrums.
