This fall, Playhouse on Park will embark on its fifth year of providing high-quality entertainment to the West Hartford community. Now is the time to subscribe to what is sure to be an exciting Main Stage season!

Why should one subscribe to Playhouse on Park? For one, it offers a great variety of shows, from classic dramas and outlandish comedies to world-premiere plays and vibrant musicals. It is also one of the most affordable theatres in the state; you could get six Broadway quality shows for the price of one! Subscribers get 20% off their ticket prices, and can easily switch the date for the shows they attend. They are also rewarded with little surprises from the theatre, and the knowledge that they are supporting the educational, cultural, and outreach programs that Playhouse on Park incorporates into their Main Stage productions.

The shows for the upcoming season include the Shakespeare tragedy Othello, the legendary Sherlock Holmes in The Hound of the Baskervilles, the hilariousLend Me a Tenor, the world premiere of Higgins in Harlem, stop/time dance theater's I'd Rather Be Dancing, and the quirky musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

For more information on the upcoming season and how to subscribe, visit the company website (www.playhouseonpark.org), or call the box office (860-523-5900 x10).
