The Square Foot Theatre Company will present the epic musical Les Miserables. This is this Connecticut based non-equity, non-profit community theatre's 35th production in 7 years. Often people refer to this wonderful community theatre as Connecticut's best kept secret. However, the secret is out and can not be missed

Les Miserables the Musical is a beautiful adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel and the hardships that many endured during the French Revolution. The audience will find themselves rooting for a convicted criminal, hearts breaking for unrequited love, and find humor in the villains. Through the hardships and pain that each of the characters endure somehow hope, friendship and even love break through the devastation.

This production features two casts of leads and 75 ensemble members. The cast consists of talented adult and child actors from across the state of Connecticut, all of which this story holds a special place in their hearts. The Square Foot Theatre's production of Les Miserables is sponsored by The Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation, and Gaylord Specialty Heathcare.

Les Miserables will run August 12th-17th. Tickets in advance are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and children under 12. To purchase tickets please go to lesmis.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets will also be available at the door, if the production is not sold out. Performances will be held at Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Road, Hamden, CT.
