The Ridgefield Theater Barn has introduced a new workshop for teens, The Fundamentals of Improv class taught by Rick Hodder, the director of the wildly successful in-house improv comedy troupe, the Role in the Hay Players.

If you like the show Whose Line is it Anyway? then these courses are right up your alley. Many of the techniques employed in improv are based on teamwork concepts. In addition to the humor, improv can improve your ability to "think on your feet," and has been known to help with public speaking and assertiveness.

The class will run for six Saturday morning sessions, 10 a.m. to noon, today, May 18 - June 29, 2013. No class on Memorial Day weekend. Graduation performance at the Barn for invited guests on June 29th.
