Playhouse on Park to Open Young Audience Series with THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

Have you heard? Everyone over at Playhouse on Park is squealing with excitement over the first Season Seven children's show, The Three Little Pigs! The whole family will be tickled pink by this retelling of a classic children's story. Opening night is October 31 at 1pm and 4pm.

From Stiles and Drewe, the award-winning musical team behind Broadway's Mary Poppins, The Three Little Pigs is a hysterical rock musical chronicling Mama Pig and her piglets as they navigate the big, bad world. Young audience members will not only be entertained by the catchy music and antics, but will learn a lesson or two about home, family and perseverance.

The Playhouse is pleased to welcome back director and choreographer SUSAN HAEFNER Playhouse on Park: 25thANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (CT Critics Circle Award/ directed/choreographed), THE DINING ROOM (acted). Susan is also a Broadway actor (STATE FAIR, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, 42ndSTREET, BILLY ELLIOT 1st National Tour) and an actor/teaching artist at Weston Playhouse in Vermont.

The Three Little Pigs is set to run on 10/31, 11/1, 11/4, 11/7 and 11/8. Showtimes are at 1pm and 4pm, with the exception of 11/4, with showtimes at 10am and 2:30pm.

October 31 attendees are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to trick or treat at our box office before the show! Our Playhouse neighbors are also joining in on the fun with special offers. Max & Lily's children consignment is offering complimentary milk and cookies after each performance! AC Petersen Restaurant is offering a free children's sundae with the purchase of a children's meal. To redeem, customers must present their show ticket with the check.
