Theatre Uncut at Playhouse on Park is an international play festival featuring brand new one act plays by renowned international playwrights.  Countries represented in our production are Spain, the United Kingdom, Greece, and the United States, including a play that has never been previously produced by United States Playwright Neil LaBute.  Six one acts will be performed on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 at 8 pm.  This event is general admission, advance reservations are not required.   Suggested donation is $10 at the door.

Theatre Uncut was created to get people thinking, talking, and taking action on the events that are happening in the world around them.

The idea is simple.  Playwrights from a selection of countries are asked to write brand new short plays in response to their current political situation.  These scripts are then made available for anyone to perform anywhere.  The Theatre Uncut 2012 plays can be performed rights free during the week of November 12 - 18 2012, creating a week of international theatrical action.

Theatre Uncut is led by artistic directors Emma Callandar and Hannah Price and producer Sarah Brocklehurst and is an entirely voluntary organization where everyone donates their time and skill.
