Join us this Friday, December 16 at 8:00 PM, for one of our favorite WCT traditions!

We've assembled an amazingly talented cast of WCT veteran actors for this fun evening, many of whom appeared in some of WCT's most memorable productions and reunite on stage for this Old-Time Radio Christmas evening. Cast will be announced shortly... so get ready for some Great Performances and holiday cheer!

Traditionally at this time of year, our December ETC staged readings bring old-time radio to the WCT stage. Audience and actors alike love the evening - so much so, that we're presenting our fourth "Old-Time Radio Christmas" show this coming Friday, December 16 at 8:00 PM. Free to all, running approximately 80 minutes, we invite you to join us afterward for some WCT holiday cheer.

Step back in time to the studios of the "All In Your Mind Players," under the direction of Richard Mancini, where you'll watch the players perform two acclaimed classic radio plays from holiday seasons of bygone days... complete with sound effects and vintage period microphones.

Our first radio play is a cute and quite funny 1949 "Family Theatre" adaptation of Charles Tazewell's 1946 story "The Littlest Angel," originally performed by Loretta Young - a classic Christmas story of a little angel who is transformed from a celestial pest to the toast of the "town." It will be accompanied by a 1945 "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" episode entitled "The Night Before Christmas" (based in part on the Conan Doyle original, "The Blue Carbuncle," for you Sherlockians). With Dr. Watson introducing the tale as he chats "by the fireside" with the announcer, settle back for a Yuletide adventure featuring Holmes, Watson, Mrs. Hudson and various and sundry supporting characters.

There will be period radio commercials and PSA's sprinkled throughout the progams, with live and recorded sound effects and music. Previous Old-Time Radio Christmas play to a near-capacity crowd - and rave reviews - and we'd love to have you join us! We look forward to seeing you Friday and sharing some Christmas cheer afterward!
