The Staples High School Orphenians will get a little help from some Broadway talent on Jan.26, at 7:30 PM in an evening of story and song.

The high school choir boasts some impressive alumni including Adam Kaplan (Newsies) who is directing the concert. Joining him in the Staples auditorium will be two time Tony nominee Robin De Jesus (Wicked, In the Heights, La Cage aux Folles), Kara Lindsay (Wicked, Newsies), Molly Jobe (Newsies), Matt Shingledecker (Wicked, West Side Story, Spring Awakening), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers, Lysistrata Jones) and music direction by Benjamin Rauhala

The high school's selective a capella singers have been invited to San Francisco perform in the renowned Chanticleer National Youth Choral Festival. Proceeds from the evening will help the choir make the trip.

Staples High School is located at 70 North Avenue, in Westport, CT. Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for students and seniors and can be purchased by clicking here. In addition, contributions can be made by clicking here.
