Goodspeed's A WONDERFUL LIFE Cast, Creatives Set for STATE OF THE ARTS This Friday

This Friday's (October 9) State of the ARTS heard weekly on WPKN-FM (89.5) will originate from the campus of Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam, Connecticut. Richard Pheneger, producer/co-host of State of the ARTS, and co-host Peggy Nelson will welcome members of the cast of the theatre's new production of A WONDERFUL LIFE as well as administrative personnel of Goodspeed Musicals.

Donna Lynn Hilton, line producer, will discuss the development of A WONDERFUL LIFE, derived from the popular Frank Capra iconic film starring Jimmy Stewart.

State of the ARTS will also feature actors Duke Lafoon, who plays George Bailey, and Kirsten Scott, who plays Mary Hatch, along with Frank Vlastnik, who plays Clarence, the Angel.

The hour-long radio show will conclude with Michael Genarro, Executive Director of Goodspeed Musicals, discussing how A WONDERFUL LIFE became part of this season when the musical The Honeymooners was withdrawn, as well as the recently announced Goodspeed Musicals 2016 season.

State of the ARTS airs LIVE each Friday from 12noon-1pm on WPKN-FM located at 89.5 on the FM dial and streams worldwide online at wpkn.org

A WONDERFUL LIFE is playing now through November, 29 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut.
