The Golden Dragon Acrobats will present Cirque Ziva, a new world-class cirque spectacular, at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. The Golden Dragon Acrobats have been thrilling audiences across the United States with their feats of athleticism, daring heart-stopping stunts and the grace of their centuries old art form. You have to see it to believe it! The large cast and dazzling production designs illustrate the breathtaking quality of Chinese acrobatics and will astonish audiences. This show is underwritten by the Glenn H. Greenberg & Linda Vester Foundation and is part of the Palm Bay International World Beat Series.

The best of a time honored tradition, some 25 centuries old, meets modern movement and expression in a gorgeous, innovative cirque performance. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as one of the premiere Chinese acrobatic companies touring today. Their Broadway debut earned two Drama Desk Award nominations, and audiences on five continents have sat in stunned amazement at their impossible feats. This is a show of spellbinding artistry that will entertain and delight audiences of all ages!

Cirque Ziva is the newest creation from producer and Artistic Director for Golden Dragon Acrobats Danny Chang. The skilled troupe of 25 presents aerial stunts, contortion and more. Stunning costumes and outstanding atmosphere by award-winning Lighting Director Tony Tucci will underscore the awe associated with this spectacle. Golden Dragon Acrobats is a technically innovative performance and showcases traditional Chinese acrobats, dance and costumes, ancient and contemporary music and modern theatrical techniques.
