Emily Kron and Steven Mooney to Star in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Playhouse on Park

The cast of Little Shop of Horrors has arrived to Playhouse on Park! Our rehearsal space is alive with the music and hilarious script penned by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Opening night is Friday, September 16, at 8:00pm, with a complimentary pre-performance wine and cheese reception from 7pm-8pm.

In this delightfully scary musical, Seymour, a nerdy floral clerk, happens upon a mysterious exotic plant that promises Seymour his ticket to fortune and love. As the plant grows, so does Seymour's suspicions of its true intentions!

Susan Haefner (Playhouse on Park: 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Director/Choreographer - CT Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Ensemble), THREE LITTLE PIGS (Director/Choreographer), and THE DINING ROOM (Actor). Other Director/Choreographer credits: Weston Playhouse, Geva Theatre. Susan is also a Broadway actor (STATE FAIR, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, 42nd STREET, Billy Elliot 1st National Tour) and an actor/teaching artist at Weston Playhouse in Vermont) returns to direct Little Shop of Horrors.

Little Shop of Horrors runs through October 16, with previews on September 14 and 15. All preview seats are only $17.50! This show offers a specially priced Tuesday matinee on Tuesday, September 27, at 2:00pm. All seats for this performance are only $22.50 per person, reserved seating. There will also be a free Open Mic night on Saturday, September 24, 2016 after the show! In addition, there is a talk back with the cast after Sunday matinees.
