Join us for the second Connecticut Community Theatre Association State Festival held in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on September 10 beginning at 7:00 pm. Local community theatre groups will compete at this year's festival and the invitation has been made to Rhode Island theatre groups as they will not have their own festival this year. Tickets are $18.

The final result of this Festival will be for our adjudicators to select one outstanding production to represent Connecticut in the New England Regional Theatre Festival (NERF). Winners from the NERF will go on to represent our region in the National AACT Festival.

Adjudications for each production will follow each performance and are open to the public. The adjudicators for this event are Joan Luther and Paul Nelson, both from New York. Bob Frame from New York is the CCTA Festival Commissioner. Audiences are encouraged to attend all the performances and all of the adjudications to derive full educational value from the festival.

Per AACT standards, the theatre is sealed at the start of each performance. While an audience member may be permitted to exit during a performance, they will not be allowed to re-renter during a performance.
