The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts in New Albany today announced its 2017-18 season which includes:

TajMo: The Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' Band

Friday, September 8, 8 pm

TajMo: The Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' Band sees blues titans Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' share the stage with their band for an exciting night of music, performing songs from their long-anticipated collaborative album TajMo released May 2017. Each multi-Grammy Award winners in their own right, this is the first formal collaboration between the two artists.

Rick Springfield: STRIPPED DOWN

Friday, January 12, 8 pm

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Rick Springfield has sold more than 25 million albums and scored 17 Top 40 hits, including "Jessie's Girl," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "An Affair of the Heart," "I've Done Everything for You," "Love Somebody," and "Human Touch." His "Stripped Down" solo performances include music, storytelling, and a special Q&A session with the audience.

JONNY LANG

Friday, March 2, 8 pm

Known for his stellar guitar playing and soulful voice, Grammy Award-winning Jonny Lang has created his own distinctive sound, blending blues, Gospel, and rock through deep guitar tones, strong melodies, and bluesy rhythms. At the young age of 36, Lang has been performing for more than two decades, and is now touring in support of his new album, Signs (September, 2017), a guitar-driven collection that includes several songs inspired by minimalist recordings of blues greats Robert Johnson and Howlin' Wolf.

Michael Feinstein & the New Albany Symphony Orchestra

Sunday, May 6, 3 pm

In a special concert commemorating the 10th season of the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, the New Albany Symphony Orchestra will perform with multi-platinum, five-time Grammy-nominated recording artist Michael Feinstein. The Columbus native and internationally celebrated singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, and author has dedicated his more than 30-year career to the preservation and revival of the Great American Songbook.

Subscriptions go on sale Monday, July 31, and range from $156-$238 per person. They can be purchased in-person at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.) or by phone at (614) 469-0939.
