The School of Music will present its popular annual Music Celebration Concert Friday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. in Mershon Auditorium, 1871 N. High St.

This annual musical extravaganza showcases Ohio State's many performing groups -- from the Symphony Orchestra, glee clubs and choirs to its Jazz Ensemble, Wind Symphony, soloists and much more -- all presented in a non-stop collage setting.

Celebrating the music of the season, this year's program features Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel (Men's Glee Club), BasSOON It Will Be Christmas (Wind Symphony), Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (Jazz Ensemble), Hungarian March (Symphony Orchestra) and many more selections. The concert concludes with the traditional "Hallelujah Chorus" from Messiah, with the combined Men's and Women's Glee Clubs, Symphonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra.

The Music Celebration Concert typically sells out, so purchasing tickets in advance is suggested. All seats reserved. Purchase tickets at the Wexner Center for the Arts, call (614) 292-3535 or visit the Arts Patron Services Desk at the Wexner Center.

$20 general public
$10 senior citizens, Alumni Association members, Ohio State faculty and staff, students and children.
